This is a collection of portraits of some of my favorite blossoms.  They begged to be painted so I used a special technique that  brings out their colorful personalities and charming movement.  They are delighted to share their beauty with you.

This collection focuses on bouquets.  I started painting them quite spontaneously years ago and strictly from my imagination. In recent years, my inspiration comes from flowers that have a specific message like this bouquet titled "This Makes My Heart Happy"  painted in early spring.  I hope that you enjoy the bouquets and the messages that they share.

Creative Chaos by Patricia Walkar

There's a beginning, a space, where the possible exists

disorganized, thrilling, chaotic,complex,'

tasting of wonder and what will come next

but stopped by the fear in my mind ‘til compressed

into something more beautiful

than ever I’d guessed.

You may wonder what a print or painting might look like in a room so I've put together these sample settings.   You can, of course, put your art in any room that gives you the look and feel that you want.   Beauty belongs everywhere!
